This policy covers the independent Alsalibi AdBlock customization of uBlock Origin Lite. The website is currently owner-private while public release is prepared.

Extension data

Request URLs, site addresses and page content are processed locally for filtering, element hiding and tab tools. We added no history collection server, usage analytics or paid ads inside the extension. No extension account is required. We do not sell browsing data.

What stays on your device

Protection levels, exceptions, chosen lists and hidden elements are stored in Chrome’s extension storage. Backups create a local file containing settings and allowed sites; sharing it is your choice. Removing the extension deletes its Chrome storage; exported files remain where you saved them.

Optional diagnostics

Logging is off by default. In the unpacked version it retains at most 100 matches for one tab in memory for up to five minutes, possibly less if Chrome suspends the worker. URL credentials, queries and fragments are removed, but paths may still be sensitive. Logs are not uploaded. Chrome may restrict this feature in store builds.

Browser permissions

Site access and scripting support filtering and element tools. Storage saves settings. Privacy permission is optional and requested only when a control is enabled; these settings affect Chrome globally, independently of site filtering pauses. Turning a control off releases the extension’s control over that preference.

External connections

Bundled lists need no analytics service. External subscriptions you add may contact their sources to fetch list data; those sources receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address. Opening external help or this website makes a normal web request. Core extension code and resources are bundled locally.

Website

This page adds no analytics, trackers or data-collection forms. Hosting, security monitoring and private-page sign-in are provided by ChatGPT Sites. The extension itself does not require signing into this website.

Readable source, modifications, rebuild tools and licenses are included in the download. The original engine is by Raymond Hill and contributors, under GPL-3.0-or-later. Read the license.
